[A cyclist seen from behind, in a white jersey with a red armband, black shorts and a pale round cap, rides a bicycle up a pale road, with two more riders in pink and white jerseys ahead of him. A signpost on the left carries a board reading PARIS · SPA. The road runs along a wooded hillside, with a fence and a stone bridge on the right and a hazy town and hills in the distance. COURSES DE SPA is lettered in yellow with a red shadow across the top, the announcement in white and blue below it, and the organizers’ names in red at the foot.
The sheet announces the opening of the velodrome at Spa, in the Belgian Ardennes, with the road races Paris-Spa, Amsterdam-Spa and Frankfurt-Spa as the long rides to it.]
