[A full-page advertisement in black and a second color, a dull red. A broad red band runs corner to corner from the upper left down to the lower right and the products are drawn across it and across the cream ground in crisp black line engraving, shaded with fine hatching and solid blacks, each one labeled in a hand-lettered sans serif beside it. Across the top of the band are the electric horn with its trumpet cluster, a single long air trumpet, a compressor, two hand tire pumps standing on their hoses, a cylindrical unit on a bracket, a windshield wiper motor in section, two rectangular anti-dazzle visors on their clamps and an oval rear-view mirror on its stalk. Low at the left a cycle auxiliary engine is drawn mounted over the front wheel of a bicycle inside a solid red disc, and at the lower right a clutch unit for a cyclomotor is drawn over the red with the engine fins and the frame tubes picked out in red line. The heading stands at the upper right, the first two words in a heavy fat-face roman and the trade name under them in a thick round script closed by a long sweeping tail. At the foot a red band carries the same script trade name very large, in cream outlined in black, with the company’s full name at its right set in black capitals whose four initial letters are reversed out of black squares to spell the name down the margin, and under that the street address and the telephone line. The stand line is set in italic below the panel. The agency mark “PUB. S.O.S.P.” is set in small italic capitals reading upward in the right margin. The right edge of the sheet catches a narrow sliver of the first letters of the facing text column. No artist’s signature appears on the drawings.]
