[A ruled advertisement in black and white, closed by a heavy rule at the top and bottom edge and a thin rule down the left side. At the head is a logotype: “Cycles” in slanted brush script above “CARRARA” in heavy shaded capitals, with the first letter drawn as an oversized C. Inside the curve of the C two racing cyclists in helmets are drawn in line engraving with hatched shading, riding side by side on a banked track with short speed lines at the upper left. Two lines in tall condensed sans-serif capitals follow, “CHAMPION du MONDE” and “CHAMPION de FRANCE”. Three small square ornaments with inner squares sit in a row below them. The firm name is repeated in bold sans-serif type, with “CARRARA” in capitals, and the address closes the panel in spaced capitals. No rider is named and no signature or agency mark is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 120 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Bourrin Frères, held here as its own record, and others for Arcoll repair solution and Fyloil oils and the order form for the 1953 Motocyclocatalogue.]
