Louison Bobet, qui roule aux côtés du maillot jaune Diederich, est resté dans l’expectative au cours de l’étape Paris-Caen. Il n’a pas bougé et les autres Grands non plus. Diederich, par contre, a été victime de l’échappée de Biagioni. Il n’a plus son maillot jaune.
