Dans le match France-Suisse remporté par les tricolores, au Vel’ d’Hiv’, le champion de poursuite, Henri Andrieux, se montra le meilleur des nôtres et l’égal de Koblet et Kubler. En très bonne forme, il fut excellent au cours de toutes les manches de l’omnium des routiers. Le voici emmenant un sprint de l’individuelle devant Hugo Koblet, Ferdi Kubler et Hassenforder.
