VARNAJO A ÉTÉ REJOINT
BOBET FONCE VERS LE PARC
Robert Varnajo (à g.), qui s’était échappé à Saint-Rémy, est rejoint à Viroflay par Louison Bobet, bien ramassé sur son vélo, que suivent Bernard Gauthier (à dr.), Debats (au centre) et Jacques Dupont, dont on aperçoit le casque. Le Critérium National est à son point crucial. Bobet triomphera au sprint devant Varnajo (Ph. H. Letondal).
