[A ruled advertisement in black and white inside a single rule. “POTENCES POUR CYCLES” runs across the head in heavy spaced sans-serif capitals. Two handlebar stems are drawn large in bold line with solid black shading to show their polished curves: at the left a stem with a straight horizontal extension, its clamp turned toward the viewer and its slotted quill running down to the bottom edge; at the right a stem with a swept, forward-curving extension and a long quill descending to the bottom. Each stem’s type name sits beside its drawing in bold capitals between quotation marks, with two or three lines of light sans-serif type below, the lines of the left-hand text running across the drawn quill; a short rule divides each text. “E. BOURGUIGNON” stands across the lower center in heavy spaced sans-serif capitals, with the address and the Roquette telephone number in bold type beneath. There is no signature in either drawing.]

[This advertisement shares its unnumbered page of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Vélodécor, La Perle, Mistral, Chazal-Rouchouse, CLB and Metalloplan, each held here as its own record, and others for the F.L. lining tool, Goetz pistons and C.P.D.M. connecting-rod reconditioning.]
