BIRDO, 2, rue Armand-Thibaut, DIJON

[A ruled advertisement in black and white, a wide panel with a heavy black ground. “CYCLO-REMORQUES” is lettered across the top in cream capitals, and the name “BIRDO” runs down the left side and again down the right side in tall cream capitals, one letter above another. In the center a light rectangle holds a line drawing with some halftone shading: the rear half of a bicycle seen from the side, with its saddle, rear wheel and a short length of frame, joined by a curved tow arm to a two-wheeled box trailer with a slatted open body and a large wheel at the near side. Three lines of spaced cream capitals below describe the trailers, and the firm name and address in bold cream type close the panel at the foot. No artist signature or monogram is visible.]

[This advertisement shares its unnumbered page of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Metalloplan, JB, Cadres Gloria and La Perle, each held here as its own record, and others for a bookkeeping booklet, the Dupont motorized invalid carriage and work-record forms.]
