[A ruled advertisement in black and white, a wide panel with a thin black border thickened along the right and lower edges. A large paper clip is drawn in outline at the upper left, hooked over the top border. The firm’s name “BENOIT FAURE” stands in very large light sans-serif capitals, with “demande Agents” beneath it in bold script-like italic and a parenthetical line in lighter italic capitals and lowercase. A dense paragraph of small roman type lists component suppliers with their brand names in bold, followed by a ruled line with the last brand at its center. The words “Manufacture Française de Bicyclettes” in bold sans-serif, then the street address and telephone line, close the panel. No artist signature or monogram is visible.]

[This advertisement shares its unnumbered page of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Durifort, Montcoudiol, Velox and Vélodécor, each held here as its own record, and others for PWB ball rings and balls, the Dupont motorized invalid carriage and H2T two-stroke oil.]
