[A landscape advertisement enclosed in a single thin rule, printed in black on the untinted paper. The stand line is set across the top in bold italic. Under it the trade name fills a solid black bar, the letters reversed out in cream in a wide flat-topped sans serif and tied together by a long reversed line that runs through the top and the foot of the word and projects beyond the A and the N. A light italic line and then a bold condensed sans-serif line of the ranges run full measure below. The lower half is given to one halftone photograph of a light motorcycle standing alone in left profile without a rider or a background, the shadow under the wheels retouched to a soft blot, the machine fitted with a rounded tank, a sprung saddle, a luggage carrier, a toolbag at the head and a cylindrical engine with its exhaust running low on the right. The slogan is set in bold sans-serif capitals under the photograph, and the foot of the panel carries the works and offices line at the left in roman with the agents line at the right in bold italic. No signature or agency mark appears.]
