Reported stolen in Pasadena on a police stolen-bicycle card, No. 45, dated 12 April 1908, as a “New ‘Pierce’” with a black 22 inch cushion frame, nickel plating, “double spring forks” and Hartford No. 77 tires. “New” does not mean built that year: Pierce numbers on either side of it were stolen as early as 1905 and 1906, so the year is left open.
