[A wide advertisement across the foot of the page, in a black rule frame, in two halves. At the left a rectangle framed by a drawn bicycle chain whose link plates are lettered alternately “VELO” and “VITA” holds the chain slogan in heavy sans serif capitals and brush script. At the right “ECLAIRAGES” in bold brush capitals, a very large “V” that begins the name “VITALUX” set in heavy capitals along the foot, with “PRODUCTION VITA” in small capitals in the bowl of the “V”; beside it, a black square panel shows a white-outlined drawing of a Vitalux lighting set: a streamlined headlamp with a crest on top, a small rear lamp lettered “Vitalux” in script, a bottle dynamo lettered “Vitalux” and its mounting bracket. No signature or agency mark. Type from the reverse of the leaf shows through the paper.]

[This advertisement shares page 86 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Gautherot and Persib-Lux, each held here as its own record, and one for the Guiller A.M.C. motorcycle.]
