[Front cover, printed in dark green and pale blue on cream stock. TERROT runs across the head in heavy art-deco capitals, the letters squared off and tightly packed. A tall lozenge of pale blue holds the illustration: a young woman in a cloche hat and light coat stands astride her bicycle beside a man in a dark jacket and flat cap, seen from behind with his machine held between his legs, the pair halted at a roadside under trees. Away up the road a third figure rides off on a vélomoteur, drawn into a rush of speed lines. CYCLES and VÉLOMOTEURS are set below the lozenge in the same deco letter. The illustrator’s monogram, ToT, sits at the lower left of the picture. Pale blue bands close the head and the foot of the sheet. A faint pencil annotation in a later hand sits in the top right margin; it is not confidently legible and is not part of the printing.]
