IMP. RÉUNIES DE LYON
[Poster, color lithograph on a ground graded from pale yellow at the head to orange at the foot. The design is built on one enormous bicycle wheel seen almost edge-on: its rim sweeps in from the lower left corner and arcs up across the sheet, its spokes rendered as pale yellow strokes of motion, with a red fork blade and hub standing at the right and a second red rim cropped by the top right corner. Riding the crest of that rim, small against it, a racer in a maroon and white jersey, black shorts and a white cap sprints on a red machine with motion strokes trailing behind him. At the left a young woman in a white summer dress stands holding an upright roadster by the bars, looking up at him. A black roundel overlaid with a red gridded globe carries MAGNAT DEBON in green outlined deco capitals at the lower left, and CYCLES is set in red capitals at the lower right. The printer’s line runs along the bottom left margin. The sheet prints the marque without its hyphen, as MAGNAT DEBON, and it is kept here as printed.]
