[Ebykr summary; the article’s text is not reproduced. A short product note on the JIC home-trainers made by Les Établissements Jeannot, of Puteaux, home-trainer specialists. The Home-trainer modèle Compétition 4 places groups four home-trainers, each with a gearing system linked by flexible cable to the needles of one large dial, the needles colored to match the trainers; one turn of the dial stands for 500 m. The trainers run on “super silencieux” rollers (JIC patents). Easy to handle, precise and with a dial that is easy to see, the model suits organizers of omni-sports meetings that stage acts with champion cyclists. Two other types exist: a compétition 2 places model with the same features and the modèle individuel, for use in an apartment or a gymnasium, offered in two versions, the « Spécial A.J. », adjustable and folding with suspended rollers, and the « Spécial J.C. », adjustable but not folding.]

[One line drawing below the text: a three-roller home-trainer seen in perspective, a single roller at the far end and two rollers at the near end, carried in a long tubular frame with curved end loops and side rails. One signature: “Rebour” in script inside a ruled monogram, at the right of the drawing, just below the far roller’s right-hand end and beside the middle roller, set on a slant parallel to the frame.]

[The note stands in the right column of the “EQUIPEMENTS & OUTILLAGE” page, beside the Gurtner, VAR and Gurtner tap notes and above the page’s documentation coupon, which are not part of this record.]
