The name “l’Auto-décor” runs across the top in very large red brush script under a small line of black capitals, with three lines of black capitals below it. At the center, a large red disc holds a drawing of Uncle Sam seen from behind, in his star-spangled top hat, black tailcoat and striped trousers, standing at a white park bench and peeling a sheet of paper away from it: the bench back carries the words “APPLICATION INSTANTANÉE” in mirror image, and the same words appear right-reading in white across his back, as if transferred onto his coat. “LA MARQUE L’ONCLE SAM” stands in spaced black capitals at the left of the disc and the guarantee in black lower case at the right. Below, the references in light black capitals and two lines of black script. At the foot, the street number “52” is set very large in red at each side of the firm’s name and address, which are in black capitals. No signature or agency mark.]
